Ivy Green Construction & Engineering, Inc., is a family-owned business owned by Byron Valencia. At 19 years old he had a vision of what his passion for math would look like in the future. In 2016, his vision became a reality, that is when his company became incorporated. Our company is comprised of a diverse team collaborating to create our best designs for each project. Our experience combined with our creativity and expertise has contributed to our work ethic in our company. At Ivy Green, our goal is to ensure that our clients are content with our work ethic and their visions can be transformed into a reality.

BYRON VALENCIA
FOUNDER/CEO
Byron graduated from UC Irvine in 2013 with a double-major in Civil & Environmental Engineering, and a minor in Mathematics. The following year in 2014, Byron graduated from UCLA with a master’s degree in Structural Engineering. After working for two years in multiple structural engineering firms, Byron officially registered Ivy Green after obtaining his Contractor’s license (CSLB 1014647), with the goal of building his engineering projects. In 2017, Byron obtained his Professional Engineer license (BPELSG C87372) to officially incorporate his business as Ivy Green Construction & Engineering, Inc. During the years that followed, Byron has continued working with his engineering and construction crew to work on hundreds of projects. Byron is a cinephile and has watched every Best Picture since 1970. He also plays the guitar and bass.
JENNIFER MARTINEZ
PROJECT MANAGER
Jennifer Martinez is the project manager for Ivy Green Construction with six years of experience in the industry. Jenni studied civil engineering at California State University, Northridge, and graduated in 2016. Jenni has worked on luxury residential, hillside construction, remodels, and multi-family homes, to name a few. She actively and enthusiastically commits to taking on projects, manages multiple projects effectively with little supervision, and possesses extensive knowledge that exceeds job requirements. When Jenni is not working on projects, she’s traveling the world and experiencing new cultures. She’s also an avid foodie and enjoys finding new restaurants and expanding her taste palate.
MADELINE SILVA
OFFICE MANAGER
Madeline Silva is a student at Pierce College, majoring in Criminal Justice. Madeline oversees the company's marketing and monitors all social media platforms for trending news, ideas, and feedback. She assists with day-to-day administrative tasks, as well as overseeing creative elements and layouts for the website and social media profiles. She quickly adapts to changes in the performance of required duties, responds well to change in different situations, continuously plans for improvement, and strives for more experience and skills. Madeline is a crime junkie and enjoys binge-watching crime shows, and she also likes to cook and learn new recipes to make.
